These stools make a stylish and useful addition to any home. I know from past clients that they get used for many purposes all over the house. They are strong and light, and the narrow centre slat in the top forms a convenient handle, making them easy to carry about from room to room. They are very comfortable to sit on due to the curved seat, while being flat enough to make a useful small occasional table..

The stools are made a few at a time from carefully selected English oak. I personally hand make each one so they all have the same care and attention paid to detail which makes them special. The separate parts are all carefully fitted together using hand tools. The final curves are made using a radius plane and spokeshave. The completed stools are given a final light sanding before the finish is applied. The pieces have the crisp look and that undefinable "something" that shows these are individually made pieces. Each one is signed and numbered under the seat.
